What a freaking day and it’s only 9:27! Woke up to finding out about this lovely little bit of information and I can’t say that I’m not happy about it. Honestly, I’m surprised that corporate America didn’t win, but it turns out the Japanese legal system may have slightly more integrity than our broken a** legal system. You know for a game that in and of itself was a concept stolen from like three other games. I always find it funny when Nintendo decides to litigate on Pokémon‘s behalf, due to either something created by fans or some game that has taken their idea and improved upon it. Let’s be honest Pokémon games really haven’t tried for the last 10 years to innovate or do anything super groundbreaking. Welp, it's here..........HALLOWEEN. Awww man. Been hype for this day all week. Gonna have some scares and take my kiddos Trick Or Treatin' then winding the night down by watching THE CROW as god intended. But alas, before that I made sure to get some work done. I cranked out another video. So here it is..... My wife and I had a 'Day Date' yesterday because we both had the day off work so we caught the new iteration of FRANKENSTEIN starring Oscar Isaac. Throwback Thursday: A look back on 'STRANDBEEST'

 

So.....way back in this Blog's infancy, and in my mid twenties I wrote and Article about 'STRAND BEEST' which is an inorganic life/artform powered by wind. IT IS SUPER COOL and METAL AF in my opinion. Well I was randomly surfing and thought about thaat for the first time in YEARS. Artist Theo Jansen started this project in the late 80s and it was grown and evolved over the last few decades. I remember originally finding about him randomly from a STUMBLEPUPON video I saw of one of his creations. Blew me away, the elegance of movement and the fact that it was wind powered immediately had me hooked. But yeah.... that's my pitch, decided to recycle this article because Theo is still hard at work and I would love to help tell his story to as many people as possible.

Oh yeahhh baby, been wanting to make this video for a WHILE now (in fact it was on my OG whiteboard when I started brainstorming this series) and today it is finally here. There's a lot I did different here and going forward it's helped me polished my flow na dstyle a bit so that's nice as well. It's a long one tho..... like 12mins but......what can I say.......  It can be very challenging for me to generate content consistently, so it's always encouraging when I get onto a hot streak of content creation. I got two videos out this week already, I got a third one currently unfolding and hopefully a few more planned to release VERYY soon. Yay!

Sorry I'm not trying to jerk myself off here, for years I've been trying to make a habit of all of this again and I'm grateful it is sticking. It's easy to get caught up in the rat race and its especially easy for a parent to be dismissive about their passion either due to time constraints or even simply being too exhausted to be motivated. Either way I take what I can get and I hope to get more baybay!

SO in a move nobody asked for on a sequel nobody really wanted it turns out that........well.......... There's a 4th BILL AND TED on the way. um..... ok? This is like the announcement of the SECOND Simpsons movie 20 years too late (which like the first simpsons movie was 20 years too late), I mean I'm not opposed to it and I don't automatically hate it but I, uh, just.....why? Obviously the answer is MONEY but there has to be something else because Keanu Reeves isn't known for doing SCHLOCK, so I wonder exactly what piqued his interests here.... but enough of my biased opinion, let's get down to business (*resists urge to sing MULAN*)

Serenity Turned 20 and I MISSED IT!??? boooooooo
