Dead Internet theory is gettin pretty crazy I tell ya

"In 2013 THETIMES report that Youtube traffic consisted of an estimated 50% bots....."- WHYFILES

THE NUMBERS ARE GETTING WORSE as well.

The Run Down:

Dead Internet theory is defined as:

theory that asserts, due to a coordinated and intentional effort, the Internet since 2016 or 2017 has consisted mainly of bot activity and automatically generated content manipulated by algorithmic curation to control the population and minimize organic human activity.

===========================                   ==========================

This Topic has been covered by How-to-Geek, The why files (for the record I do not consider this credible because its made for entertainment), FORBES, and if you goto google the topic you'll get things calling it a conspiracy (suggesting there isn't much merit to the theory despite the evidence continuously emerging on the subject). PSYCHOLOGYTODAY.com even has something to be said about it

It's nuts and people are divided on the legitimacy of it. Although when you read things like what is covered in the video below is seems to be more present than you would expect, or at the very least if not now then soon.....

  I want to respond to this video firstly by saying this-- Here's a link to the referenced article (here). I also want to say....Ho.. ly.. Sh**

People have been talking about this for years and if it hasn't been true it is now. Shoot, they don't even want to hide this anymore. With traffic down they can absolutely pad the numbers with all their phony BS nonsense-- How insane.

It's bad enough going into a comment section as it is and now all the trolling will be getting worse (people see the benefit to rage bating these days........Rage clicks are an unethical yet monetary thing)
