I did a VLOG today. tune in if you like wrestling

Today I participated in a video blog for the first time. It was nice. I had fun and got to pay the part of the fool. Collaborating with youtube user TYLERMCD65 I had a good conversation and some witty banter...... Our topic at hand was Wrestling, more specifically- The recent superstar shake-up in the WWE. It was a fun experiment that may breed more to come but I enjoyed myself. I even got to dawn a cowboy hat. If that's your thing check it out below!

Happy Anniversary Baby!

Today marks the 10th Anniversary of when I asked the love of my life, Nancy Brown, to be my girlfriend and she made the biggest mistake of her life. It's been a wild, exciting, curious, furious, magical and majestic journey so far.... With Marriage exactly 1 month Away. I couldn't think of anybody better to spend my downtime with. I love Nancy Brown! with all my heart.

Today, 10 years ago, an event happened that shook my foundations. This world that I had built for myself, in my heart and in my head, was shattered and destroyed. Replaced by something unknown. Going from heartache and an everchanging world to something tangible- the beginning of something static. Alls it took was one kiss and a few intimate evenings (no,not sex...) and I was hooked. Our chemistry was rewritten and recoded only to fit with eachother, both figuratively and literally and from that moment you become two parts of a whole. You know you meet the right person when they inspire you do great, meaningful and ambitious things. You know because you can feel it, you feel it because it is real, and it is real because it has always been. I gave my heart out to Nancy Brown in complete vulnerability and she reciprocated by doing the same, since then.......I havent felt alone in the universe, flying through space on a biological earthship. I just want the world to know that. I want people to know that there is a force which violates our natural order......it allows me to deny my genetic programming.... Love. Ive found it, cultivated it and it has grown into something far beyond comprehension and conception...... and thats not even the tip of how I feel...or maybe...just the tip tho wink emoticon

From 2005 til now!

Dudescast is back! (Hiatuses are becoming our thing) #17- "Hooked on a Feeling"

After a long Absence (Namely.....all of 2014 until now) the Dudes are back! And I am proud to announce an addition to the Dudescast....DEREK SAMPLE!!!! (I know this pic looks pretty Janky but I had 2 minutes to put it together..... plus I'm not super photoshop savvy , that's Derek's Forte). Ps... I just realized this photo might imply Derek's dead or something.... he's not.

In this adventure our heroes return from the 7th layer of Hell. After a long battle with the super-devil and after recovering the Kruscht-Skull of Bilge-Bard; Nathan, Ryan and Derek return for an hour and a half of Views, Reviews, Terry Crews, and 3 sets of shoes. X-Men: Days of Future Past, Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Godzilla, and a few other subjects are discussed in this installment of Dudes cast. as well as a bickering of Howard the Duck.

This Article was written back in 2012 also. I wanted to promote my Short-Film/Episodic serial- Dawn of the Dudes. I have 2 episodes to date...well 3 technically. The first Dawn of the Dudes was a Pilot episode that showcased my super amateur film making status..... That was filmed in 2009 and re-shot in 2010. But THIS one.... THIS Episode is still amateur and still cheesy but I'm still proud of it.... but without Further Ado....

A group of band mates move into a new house for a fresh start but supernatural forces may hinder their plans of moving forward

Our Story starts off with our heroes: The "Dudes." Sitting in their basement on their new house with new adventures waiting on the horizon. They've got a problem though- They've been in a funk since losing "Clash of the Titans" (a battle of the bands contest at a state-wide music festival) and can't write any new material. This is frustrating to Ryan as he is the bands' manager (and drummer) and also an aspiring musician. Derek and Nathan just want to drink and work and live life so they're not too concerned with the lack of progress assuring themselves "you can't rush art."

I didn't forget to post it, I didn't forget to export it, we just didn't get around to doing it this week. Sorry.
Been busy with Polite Aschole and I've been on vacation and we probably will do one next WED. Although I have been contemplating doing a solo dudescast, so we shall see! Stayed Tuned

That was my attempt at a disclaimer to release myself from any lawsuit forming, formed or about to be formed on account of the whacky things that will progress from this blog... I'm trying to think ahead. :-)


So back to some non serious Sh@&. Let's get a lil background info going about this blog and let me bring you up to speed....
This blog is the18734 and it was started originally as a means to communicate updates for my website (which is slowly getting more and more content and such. It also hosts out podcast 'dudescast') so initially it wasn't anything interesting (arguably it still isn't) but that started changing as I wanted to share my affinity for absurd things and things related to science or fiction and science fiction. Then it snow balled into updated things like movie trailers and whacky videos, and stuff about chris hadfield. My bestfriends Nathan Renard and Derek Sample got on board and things were all set to go.
Life was great, we had a website with our videos centered around our fictional universe (the 18734) and we had podcasts, and blogging, and talks about comics and fun times. before the dark times, before the 'empire.'

 One day  Things changed (like things tend to do), and I eventually ran out of room to post dudescast on webs.com for free and as of right now this thing is in the beg. stages so I got no real income coming in either meaning that this is all out of pocket (not that I mind that, it is a small price to pay to do what I love and enjoy doing) so i had to look for another podcast hosting site. Alas! I had found one..... one BING search later and I was at podomatic.com setting up our account. Now I really like this site but they too have a free limit (and right now I'm a cheap bastard) and it too is nearing that time. So in order to survive I must adapt. I gotta sell out a wheee bit to try and raise money to pay for the $5 monthly service (and if more is raised that'll go towards the website and also production of skits and short-films). Unfortunately in order to attempt this I need to put ads up and google won't let me and webs.com's free blog (it probably violates some TOS agreement somewhere or somehow) so I've got to change, I've got to evolve. Hopefully this works out too and if I can I'll put our paypal 'donate' button up should you decide too (again I'm not trying to be pushy but I'm just letting you know it's there).

and now that I've exhausted myself whoring out my integrity you can now enjoy the loveliness contained herein! (hopefully)
