Recently You have a new season of the Punisher, a trailer for Avengers: Endgame, a new trailer for another Spider-man. wow..... Pi day was my last post... oh boy, I've got some catching up to do: MEMES!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

Merry Christmas everybody. Today is a special day. Santa aside, jesus aside, presents aside, pagan christmas tree traditions aside..... Today is a day celebrated all around the world not for just religious reasons but for good spirited reasons.

Christmas has a way of bringing people together and then filling then with food and alcohol until they annoy the living crap out of eachother. It is a time for togetherness and yule tide happiness. It is a day when you can set aside childish sqabbles, petty bull$h!*, and let the little things go (temporarily)

So Wednesday I'm just hanging with my buddies (Nathan and Derek) and we are playing the Borderlands Pre-sequel (which is BA btw) and chatting and laughing and having a good time when out nowhere I receive a text from my cousin Dillon. Now Dillon doesn't typically text me so when he does it is usually important (like events about the family or extended family or keep me in the loop or even on occasion, maybe just talk. Mostly it is comic book or Marvel Cinematic related) so I already knew that it might be something important.

Alls it said was:

and my world froze for a split second. hahahaha. over a trailer..... but c'mon... it's Marvel




IMMEDIATELY I TOLD DEREK AND NATHAN and immediately Derek's huuuuuge 60inch HDTV got high jacked as we searched and scoured the internet for the trailer (the website was down due to high traffic......gee I wonder why) and we found it. WE WATCH IT. We all got towels and sat back down. It was glorious. Glorious

Hulk Buster, Gollum (or the Andy actor who portrayed him). Scarlett witch and Quiksilver. ULTRON in Mark 1 to Vibranium Ultron (since they used 'adamantium' hes made out of Vibs.....thanks FOX) The beginnings of a Civil War arc.... my god it was glorious <BR> Why is banner is a skintight shirt/make-shift straight jacket.  And why Does is appear he has romance with Romanoff instead of Hawkeye and the Black Widow?

Then Marvel got smart. They realized the internet already got ahold of a poopy and low-resolution version of the teaser they were releasing in less than a week (it was slated to premiere of Agents of SHIELD) so they decided to make it official and please the world some more.

Original SIN: my 2 cents....

Marvel's Big Event comic of the year, as you may or may not know, has been a pretty intriguing murder mystery/who-done-it kinda story. It is very interesting to talk about and speculate with. The short of it is this: The watcher (An eternal silent being who lives on the moon and observes ALL of human history, but never interferes) is murdered and Nick Fury is tasked with finding out: 1. Who did, 2. Why they did it, and 3. What they wanted or intended to gain/do by doing so. If you haven't read it, I'd recommend picking it up and although it isn't your typically superhero arc it has a noir feeling to it with a kind of subtle charm to keep you reading.

A Wtf moment: Edgar Wright set to ...non-...direct Ant-man?

That's right....that isn't a type.....nor is it cryptic, or trickery...... it is neither lible or rumor (how else can I say this....).It was announced today that Edgar Wright, will no longer be moving forward as director for the upcoming 'Ant-man' movie, starring Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas.

Marvel Cinematic Universe Timeline (made Easy...now with Pictures)

Ever since the beginning of phase one (i'm talking....post Iron Man 2 specifically.....when the universe idea was just being booted..) people have been trying to keep the chronology in order as far as cannon/history/lore of the movies go. I've seen pages, and text pages and even some charts/graphs with images and easte-eggs and what not, but today I came across a website that had a pretty sweet and tangible graphic that explains about the MCU (aka....marvel cinematic universe) up until the present.

COMIC CON!!!

Today was the annual MOTOR CITY COMIC CON. This year I went with my girlfriend Nancy, my buddy Jeff, my best buddy Nathan, My best buddy Derek and his girlfriend Dana. It was an awesome event. Filled with walking, energy drinks, talks of comics and things of nerdy natures, more walking, comics, peeing, comics, more walking, nancy shaking Ernie Hudson's hand and me peeing with Khal Drogo. I didn't take any pictures this year but you bet you're bottom dollar I'm going to post some pics from other cons. 

Some notable guests include: Chris Claremont, Hershel and Shane from THE WALKING DEAD, Tommy the Green Ranger, The Nasty boys, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, William Shatner, Ernie Hudson, Khal Drogo, that girl from SONS OF ANARCHY and many more that I can't recall.

I'm not dead (in case you care[d]) but here's a few things going on....

It's been a few weeks, I know (and I'm sorry), and for the 3 people that read this thing that means there's a gap in a few of the areas in your life.... It's o.k., I'm o.k., this have just been hectic. I've been on the job hunt (because adsense don't pay no bills.....or anything at the moment), I've been building a new destop computer (which is complete now and is the one I'm currently typing this blog from....sorry iMAC), been playing some vidya games etc.... I also had to catch up on muh T.V. shows and started getting in shape again (pssh who does that) so my time is scattered and A LOT has been going on in the world of movies, games, science, life and drugs. Movie trailers will get their own blog post (so look out for that!), science will get its own post, a MEME round-up should be coming soon, and also a random arse news-article post. This is a meta post-post. Where I explain myself and my leave of absence for the three of you! and also post a cool new picture (pre-production....way before any CGI is added) of what ultron and scarlett witch and Quicksilver will be looking like. But you gotta continue reading for that hot commodity.... that's how I getcha!

Again.... doing my daily perusing of movie/entertainment updates/news/information/what-ever-you-call-it I came across yet another interesting tid-bit that I'd like to share (I've had a lot of freetime today... it is X-mas EVE after all so NO WORK TODAY! woohoo) and it comes in the snowy christmas form of pretty much nothing!

We all knew it and were just waiting for confirmation: Vin Diesel is Groot! (finally!)

I was just reading an article over at superherohype.com (you know....the source of 90% of my movie info) and apparently Marvel just confirmed what all of us already had a firm handle on: Vin Diesel is officially playing GROOT the tree/alien/guardian of the galaxy. Speculation has hit the internet in the last few months and reports popped up about Diesel trying out stunt-stilt-work on the FAST & FURIOUS set.  Also..... for you internet detectives out there: Last week the teaser trailer for 'Guardians of the Galaxy' leaked online. I managed to save it on my computer thanks to KEEPVID.com but I'm not going to compromise this blog and upload it but if you do enough digging I'm sure you can find it too! if not....you just SOL, sorry.
