Oh satire........ You got me, as the kids these days say, 'Laughing out Loud'
I love satire. I just love comedy in general, you can tell the truth while being funny or at the very least while not being so grizzly about it. I also love how you can use satire to point out the outrageous-ness of things. So with that spirit in mind I have for you a couple of my favorite articles that have circulated their way to me in the last week or two
#1. Gay Teen Worried He Might Be Christian
LOUISVILLE, KY—At first glance, high school senior Lucas Faber, 18, seems like any ordinary gay teen. He's a member of his school's swing choir, enjoys shopping at the mall, and has sex with other males his age. But lately, a growing worry has begun to plague this young gay man. A gnawing feeling that, deep down, he may be a fundamentalist, right-wing Christian. -Link to Article here
hahahahahahahahahahahaha. This article had me rolling, figuratively of course. It's funny to me because people don't think that their worldview isnt as ridiculous from the outside looking in. Oh it is great, like how people think that somebody who is gay is less than a person. Asinine I tell ya.
But for more articles following the theme of satire, please continue reading.

Neil DeGrasse Tyson Slams 'Gravity'
I know it's a few weeks fashionably late but I just came across this article from PopularScience were Neil DeGrasse Tyson (pictured above looking stlyin') went on Twitter after seeing the "movie" and proceeded to rip it a new one.......only to wrap up with the ever so shifty "I still enjoyed it" or some BS (I paraphrased that quote BTW). Continue reading for NERDY information on EXACTLY how inaccurate (scientifically) a movie is....who woulda thought that works of fiction were fake?
