Happy March 13th everybody! Or to those in 'the know' it is also called 'Pi day' due to its mathematical connection to the infinite formula circles know and love.
Some good trailers have been coming out the last few days....
Bate Motel is starting up...
The Walking is in Full Effect,
Game of Thrones will be coming (see trailer below),
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is starting while
Agent carter just wrapped up.....
busy, busy, busy.....
Back to my main point.....good trailers..... yes!
I've gathered all of the ones (minus TV spots of TWD or AoS or things of that nature) that I know of in one convenient location..... So BAM! The meth..... the first one is free, continue reading to re-up (ok it is nothing like meth....I just started watching Breaking Bad)
This isn't NEW new but it is still noteworthy.... ENJOY (just so we can start things off)
I despise Hugh Grant...... Well really I don't. To be fair, actually, I have never met or interacted with the guy. To be honest I have nothing against him PER SE but man I really, really, really strongly oppose him as an actor. I'll admit it, it is definitely 100% irrational. Like I said, he could he a stand-up guy, but I don't care.........I dislike his persona and the characters he portrays on the silver-screen. I dislike his acting abilities or skills if you can call them that. I hate the movie 9 months......
I love how Family Guy makes fun of him......
That being said......
We now have a theme for This article!
More on that story as it develops.....
How effective do you think a whip is in old-school combat?
It has speed, it has power, it def has momentum. Think about it though....
How effective is a spear?
It has distance and precision.
It is swift and tense.
NOW.....COMBINE the TWO! and you have an URUMI..... A whip-sword thing....
OBSERVE (actually....continue reading first..... then OBSERVE)
WARNING: NEVER............ (in a Chris Jericho voice).EVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVER
try this at home. Or at school. Or at work. Or in Prison. Pretty much, never try this anywhere, ever, unless you're well trained and experienced in sword-fighting
Seen here sporting virtually NO armor (except their bucklers) we have two EXTREMELY brave (or stupid....or more rationally.....two very WELL-TRAINED pros) gents lashing and hashing it out (or just bad-assily performing a demonstration.... IDK) it a super dangerous yet super Tapemeasuresque battle!
Hopefully nobody lands a hit, tape measurers hurt.....imagine something DESIGNED TO EFF YOU UP
QUICK LIL HISTORY LESSON:
"The urumi (Malayalam: ഉറുമി urumi; Tamil: சுருள் பட்டாக்கத்தி surul pattai, lit. curling blade; Sinhalese: එතුණු කඩුව ethunu kaduwa; Hindi: aara) is a sword with a flexible whip-like blade from India. Originating in the country's southern states, it is thought to have existed as far back as the Maurya dynasty. The urumi is considered one of the most difficult weapons to master due to the risk of injuring oneself. It is treated as a steel whip,[1] and therefore requires prior knowledge of that weapon. For this reason, the urumi is always taught last in the Indian martial arts. The word urumi is of north Keralan origin. In the state's southern region it is more commonly called a chuttuval, from the words for coiling or spinning (chuttu) and sword (vaal).[1] Alternative Tamil names for the weapon are surul val (curling sword) and surul katti (curling knife)." -Wikipedia
So in case you didn't know...... Han Solo recently crashed his plane (this isnt the first crash he has survived either.....what a Bad @$$) oon a golf course...... if you didn't know that read about it hereherehere or here (or look on your FB newsfeed or any star wars fan page)
Now I just want to start off my saying this: DON'T TAKE THIS AS DOGMA. Just use this possibility as a tool to think about things. After all-- The brain is the most powerful and sophisticated machine in the universe.....
This is also my 300th article so why not go out there and lose what little credibility I had by delving into borderline pseudo-science (even tough MKULTRA is real and people don't just give up on the possibility of mind control)
The exact contrary of what is generally believed is often the truth. - Jean de La Bruyere (1645-1696)
