wow..... Pi day was my last post... oh boy, I've got some catching up to do: MEMES!

It's been about 2 weeks since my last post.... Time to spit out a few articles and fun tidbits I suppose....

Reality is a B: Movie Logic for possibly unhappy endiings...

Sometimes realty has got to troll you. Or is it logic? Or maybe both (or maybe Orton outta nowhere)? I don't know so don't ask me. I do love thought and perspective and that's why when I come across these types of articles (or fan theories) I get all giddy. This article though is slightly morbid. but, like I said, it is intriguing nonetheless. Here's #8 out of 10 for example: Fight Club.

8. The Narrator In Fight Club Is Finally Free Of All Burdens… And Is Going To Jail For The Rest Of His Life (Fight Club)

Fight Club is a movie designed to hurt your brain, but it also clings to a great twist that most of us didn’t see coming the first time we watched it. The narrator, Jack (Ed Norton), spends much of the movie interacting with a badass named Tyler Durden, who is played by Brad Pitt. Durden is everything that Jack wants to be, although it eventually turns out that Jack was Durden all along – he has two split personalities, see, one of which has been making him do awful things under the guise of a group calling themselves “Project Mayhem.”

One of these “awful” things is rigging huge explosives to a bunch of buildings downtown. In the movie’s iconic final scene, Jack finally rids himself of Durden by shooting himself in the face (hence, the defiant gesture alone is enough to “kill” this other personality). Jack himself survives this, though, and we realise then that he has overcome his anxieties, is able to embrace the woman he loves, Marla, and can finally take control of his life. Then all the rigged buildings explode outside as the pair watch from atop a skyscraper…

Things get taken out of context. Be it because of a change in time, fashion, thought, opinion, style, or even music. It is easy to poke fun at the dialogue in Romeo and Juliet because nobody talks like that anymore. But sometimes this bias can have a comical outcome and sometimes the pay off on these subtle gems of comedy is worth the little bit of ignorance that comes with it. Empire has released a clip from the Blu-ray of Thor: The Dark World, which hits shelves February 25. In it, we're treated to an alternate version of Chris Evans' Captain America cameo but, unlike in the final film, this version features Tom Hiddleston in the outfit. That's because Evans' cameo was digitally inserted over the below footage and, on set, Hiddleston had the chance to don the suit and shield.

I know it's a few weeks fashionably late but I just came across this article from PopularScience were Neil DeGrasse Tyson (pictured above looking stlyin') went on Twitter after seeing the "movie" and proceeded to rip it a new one.......only to wrap up with the ever so shifty "I still enjoyed it" or some BS (I paraphrased that quote BTW). Another day another Useless youtube video: Party all the time

So who hasn't heard Eddie Murphy's (really it's Rick James as performed by Eddie Murphy but thats a debate) 'hit' single PARTY ALL THE TIME. Thats shit came out circa 1985, when I was still just a twinkle in the eye, and it's been causing all sorts of verbs to reality.

Sidenote: I found PATT on vinyl at a record store for $.99, and I scooped that sweet deal up because why not! Double sidenote: I bought Dio's Holy Diver on vinyl for $.99 in the same trip, and that REALLY was awesome. ("Cool story bro").
