"This is a video of ultra conservative Christian Megan Fox (not that Megan Fox, trust me) taking a trip to the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago to debunk their 'Evolving Earth' exhibit and audit it for a liberal (aka scientific, in her mind) bias. It starts off awful and ends worse, and that's even looking past the shoddy camerawork (which wasn't easy). Reality is a B: Movie Logic for possibly unhappy endiings...

Sometimes realty has got to troll you. Or is it logic? Or maybe both (or maybe Orton outta nowhere)? I don't know so don't ask me. I do love thought and perspective and that's why when I come across these types of articles (or fan theories) I get all giddy. This article though is slightly morbid. but, like I said, it is intriguing nonetheless. Here's #8 out of 10 for example: Fight Club.

Fight Club is a movie designed to hurt your brain, but it also clings to a great twist that most of us didn’t see coming the first time we watched it. The narrator, Jack (Ed Norton), spends much of the movie interacting with a badass named Tyler Durden, who is played by Brad Pitt. Durden is everything that Jack wants to be, although it eventually turns out that Jack was Durden all along – he has two split personalities, see, one of which has been making him do awful things under the guise of a group calling themselves “Project Mayhem.”

One of these “awful” things is rigging huge explosives to a bunch of buildings downtown. In the movie’s iconic final scene, Jack finally rids himself of Durden by shooting himself in the face (hence, the defiant gesture alone is enough to “kill” this other personality). Jack himself survives this, though, and we realise then that he has overcome his anxieties, is able to embrace the woman he loves, Marla, and can finally take control of his life. Then all the rigged buildings explode outside as the pair watch from atop a skyscraper…

So Wednesday I'm just hanging with my buddies (Nathan and Derek) and we are playing the Borderlands Pre-sequel (which is BA btw) and chatting and laughing and having a good time when out nowhere I receive a text from my cousin Dillon. Now Dillon doesn't typically text me so when he does it is usually important (like events about the family or extended family or keep me in the loop or even on occasion, maybe just talk. Mostly it is comic book or Marvel Cinematic related) so I already knew that it might be something important.

IMMEDIATELY I TOLD DEREK AND NATHAN and immediately Derek's huuuuuge 60inch HDTV got high jacked as we searched and scoured the internet for the trailer (the website was down due to high traffic......gee I wonder why) and we found it. WE WATCH IT. We all got towels and sat back down. It was glorious. Glorious

Then Marvel got smart. They realized the internet already got ahold of a poopy and low-resolution version of the teaser they were releasing in less than a week (it was slated to premiere of Agents of SHIELD) so they decided to make it official and please the world some more.

When Good intentions go bad: Children's Books and the titles we laugh at....

Things get taken out of context. Be it because of a change in time, fashion, thought, opinion, style, or even music. It is easy to poke fun at the dialogue in Romeo and Juliet because nobody talks like that anymore. But sometimes this bias can have a comical outcome and sometimes the pay off on these subtle gems of comedy is worth the little bit of ignorance that comes with it. Math can be awesome/Also extremely tedious and frustrating......

I want to tell you about 2 websites I found today and the weird, wild, wacky, and wizzy stuff they be peddlin.' The first website was taken from I F-ing <3 Science's article:

It has numerous Gifs that help visualize the crap that teachers (particularly in math) have been trying to relate to us unsuccessfully for years!

IT is a vital and interesting tool if you're interested or confused and if not then it is just fun and wonderful nonsense. Either way it is worth a look IMO because math is the language of the universe (seriously ANYTHING can be translated into math...ANYTHING. The universe is geometric in nature) and knowing it will open up endless possibilities.

The other article follows in the footsteps of what I was just taking about EXCEPT they aren't math Gifs per se but are Gifs that are made using mathematics, such as:

Marvel's Big Event comic of the year, as you may or may not know, has been a pretty intriguing murder mystery/who-done-it kinda story. It is very interesting to talk about and speculate with. The short of it is this: The watcher (An eternal silent being who lives on the moon and observes ALL of human history, but never interferes) is murdered and Nick Fury is tasked with finding out: 1. Who did, 2. Why they did it, and 3. What they wanted or intended to gain/do by doing so. If you haven't read it, I'd recommend picking it up and although it isn't your typically superhero arc it has a noir feeling to it with a kind of subtle charm to keep you reading.

Watching these videos allowed me some of that this morning because it motivated me to take my fiance and our dog out on a nature walk. We got Lost in the nature preserve and it ended up taking about 2 hours to get out but I still feel it was worth it. The journey was awesome and to me that is what matters.

Article Mega-post: EVERYTHING MUST GO

Over periods of time I accumulate articles and things that peek my interest or things to talk about and/or weigh-in on. Every time I hunt for knowledge, or lore, or fact or fiction I bookmark my entries so I can come back to them at later times. MY hiatus was no different. I cataloged a decent amount of things both fresh and old. Hot topics and has-been discussions. Like this really cool Flower animation pictured above, I found that stumbling. I didn't know when or where or even how I was going to use it in the context of an article but here we are. So enclosed is a pretty Decent collection of Topics and such. Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.

Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:

S *Ask the individual to SMILE.

T *Ask the person to TALK and SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently)
(i.e. Chicken Soup)

R *Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.

If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call emergency number immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.

New Sign of a Stroke -------- Stick out Your Tongue

NOTE: Another 'sign' of a stroke is this: Ask the person to 'stick' out his tongue. If the tongue is

'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other that is also an indication of a stroke.

A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this e-mail sends it to 10 people; you can bet that at least one life will be saved.
