Mega POST: The Star Wars Celebration (2025)

 

This Article was published on APRIL 21, 2025.......as you can see from the picture above me, Star Wars celebration has come and gone. It was great too. I personally didn't stay up for all the news (Shoot, I live halfway across the world and got kids......I just caught the highlights on the stuff I missed and youtubed it all), but I got caught up to speed. WE got some SWEET projects in the pipeline too. I both love and hate how the FELONIVERSE is starting to occupy all the space in star wars but time will tell how well that web is weaved. If you CONTINUE reading you'll get a rundown of the big reveals over the last weekend in TOKYO as the best week in STAR WARS concluded. BOOMSHAKALAKA

I mean...... The photo says it all. Gotta start out strong here. We got a trailer (Well not we as in you and me and the internet.....WE as in the people in attendance in TOKYO) for the upcoming movie featuring everybodies favorite multibillion dollar marketing plush and his badass chrome plated gunslinging compadre (oh should I say compedro?). I'm going to try and see if the leaked version is still up, there's been a few youtuber's who have gotten around copyright strikes by talking over the trailer and probably invoking the gray area of commentating freeuse or something. *shrugs* 

Alls I'm gonns say is that Jabba's son is friggin JACKED yo. ANYWAYS to stay on topic the trailer doesn't really give much away, obviously its looking like Thrawn may be a central theme but other than that it just look enjoyable. some of the haters are saying it looks just like a typical episode of the show but maybe longer or could even just be a filler episode and I say OK, SO WHAT. I love exposition and I love filler episodes. Some of the best episodes of FRINGE were filler episodes.

Andor season two comes out....TOMORROW! (9pm Est for me) and I am SUPER pumped for it. The first season is such a refreshing take on side stories in the star wars universe. What's also nice is that for once is a production in a galaxy far far away there is not one mention or use of the force. DON'T GET ME WRONG, I love the force and the Jedi and space magic and allllllllllllll that. But you don't get many stories in the mainstream where there's and absence of it, and for Andor it is one of its MANY saving graces. I'm current re-watching season one in anticipation for the release tomorrow and can't wait to weigh in one my two cents once the series has completed. (So stay tuned for that)

5.                   AHSOKA SEASON TWO

I know season one of Ahsoka got mixed reviews but I LOVED IT. Say what you want about it but we got THRAWN and space witches and zombie stormtroopers and Live Action REBELS, it...was. FABULOUS. Season two is shaping up to get CRAZY. We got Thrawn going TOE toTOE with my mans Admiral "itsatrap' Ackbar shoooot let's go. 

6.                 Star Wars: Zero Company

I'm going to be completely and totally honest with you hear......out of all the announcements at Star Wars Celebration I could really care less about this one. It's only saving grace is that it is STAR WARS related, and hey, I could totally eat my words and this could be the greatest game of all time BUT until then I'm just going to say here it is, this is it. Star Wars Turn based gameplay. blah blah blah blah 2026
