A few Article I've came across and like to share (nothing special and/or in particular)

I've been doing a lot of reading on the internet (as always) and with that are things that catch my fancy.  Now I could sit here and type out an article for each and every article that I'd like to promote (and believe me that would help attract attention to this blog) but I just haven't got the time lately.... Hence the dramatic lack of updates. BUT since I'm here now I'd like to talk about a few things that might catch your fancy as well (sexual harassment unintended there......geez)

#1- The (hopefully) new and upcoming 15-second gunshot wound sealer....thing:
That's right kids!
REVMEDX has recently developed a new product called 'Xstat' and if FDA approved this could revolutionize quick treatments of wounds both on and off of the battlefield. This new proposed method could be injected and work in a little as 15-seconds, providing for temporary clottage (word? I dunno...is now!) while a person is being transported to a more optimal location. For the popular science article on the subject feel free to click here, here, or here (they're all the same link....amplified for dramatic effect). I find that to be really neat and since this is just the first product in a new era of wound treatment it will only be improved.....probably eventually becoming more compact and absorbent. Innovation rocks!

#2- IwatchStuff.com has recently published an article featuring the remake (unofficial) of ROBOCOP.. well at least 'their' version....whoever they are. The article is aptly titled:

'Our RoboCop Remake': The RoboCop Remake of the People (And So Many Rapists)

"Our RoboCop Remake is the crowd-sourced remake of the people, an even more skewed version of the 1987 Paul Verhoeven classic as retold by some 50 professional and amateur filmmakers (many from Channel 101)"
originally released through VIMEO's website. Although I'm going to try to find a youtube version for upload purposes.
Ok....well failed to find the whole remake but here's a TASTE... Watch the video VIA IWS here
or through VIMEO's link.... HERE (please give it a watch... it is hilarious) ..ps skip to 42 minutes for some dick blastin' action

now I've got to snip-it off here.... Can't be posting the whole thing without a page break. That junk would get looooooong (giggity) so continue reading to....continue reading.

Critical Consensus: While I don't want to speak for Terry Gilliam, I'd like to think that we share a common view on hollywood and how people only want happy endings

I love Terry Gilliam (and I STILL need to see BRAZIL..FUCK! Jeff Bloomer and Trystam Muprhy-Fahlgren would be sooooo disappointed in me) and his movies. I love his devotion to his craft and I admire his never-say-die attitude. Realistically I need to get mine back so I can be unstoppable in the film industry, but I digress.... Mr. Gilliam released an interview for TCM (Turner Classic Movies) talking about a few biffs he has with Hollywood. Mainly it's just that we as an audience have gotten very used to having stories that wrap up nicely and don't leave room for interpretation or thought.
I agree with him, and although he doesn't blame the audience I partially do. Although we can't choose the crap dangled in front of us we can choose to bit or not and more times than  not we bite anyways... pssh who needs standards.  He makes a very good point though when using schindler's list. An although the title to the video is very misleading this isn't the focus of his interview, he just expresses how differently he would have approached the story.
