A few Article I've came across and like to share (nothing special and/or in particular)

I've been doing a lot of reading on the internet (as always) and with that are things that catch my fancy.  Now I could sit here and type out an article for each and every article that I'd like to promote (and believe me that would help attract attention to this blog) but I just haven't got the time lately.... Hence the dramatic lack of updates. BUT since I'm here now I'd like to talk about a few things that might catch your fancy as well (sexual harassment unintended there......geez)

#1- The (hopefully) new and upcoming 15-second gunshot wound sealer....thing:
That's right kids!
REVMEDX has recently developed a new product called 'Xstat' and if FDA approved this could revolutionize quick treatments of wounds both on and off of the battlefield. This new proposed method could be injected and work in a little as 15-seconds, providing for temporary clottage (word? I dunno...is now!) while a person is being transported to a more optimal location. For the popular science article on the subject feel free to click here, here, or here (they're all the same link....amplified for dramatic effect). I find that to be really neat and since this is just the first product in a new era of wound treatment it will only be improved.....probably eventually becoming more compact and absorbent. Innovation rocks!

#2- IwatchStuff.com has recently published an article featuring the remake (unofficial) of ROBOCOP.. well at least 'their' version....whoever they are. The article is aptly titled:

'Our RoboCop Remake': The RoboCop Remake of the People (And So Many Rapists)

"Our RoboCop Remake is the crowd-sourced remake of the people, an even more skewed version of the 1987 Paul Verhoeven classic as retold by some 50 professional and amateur filmmakers (many from Channel 101)"
originally released through VIMEO's website. Although I'm going to try to find a youtube version for upload purposes.
Ok....well failed to find the whole remake but here's a TASTE... Watch the video VIA IWS here
or through VIMEO's link.... HERE (please give it a watch... it is hilarious) ..ps skip to 42 minutes for some dick blastin' action

now I've got to snip-it off here.... Can't be posting the whole thing without a page break. That junk would get looooooong (giggity) so continue reading to....continue reading.

#3- Popphoto has released an awesome article for all you Do it Yourselfers out there!
Aptly named: 8 DIY Lighting Accessories you can make (otherwise who'd call it DIY)
Everything from pringle-can SNOOTS to Salad-bowl Beauty Dishes....
We all know how I loves mes somes Doin it yourselfs stuffs (all the s's)
so if this sounds like something you'd be down for (or you need some inexpensive lights for the zombie apocalypse..) read that article. Do it.... read it HERE

Random Youtube Video  here:

Some Roadrunner looney tunes rusky stuff here.... back to the articles!

#4- Women draws several self-portraits before, during and after taking LSD

If you like taking drugs or are interested in what it might be like taking drugs then this article is FOR YOU! A reddit user (as if it would be anywhere else) decided to do a series of drawings at different stages while on the drug LSD and with the aid of a friend who was also there (probably to keep her grounded and not freaking the F out). I personally have never done ACID although I would definintely be open to the experience. Either way it is perspective and I'd recommend perusing this article (well of course I would....otherwise this wouldn't be here). Click.............. HERE for the article posted via WebBurgr

#5- the trailer for Terry Gilliam's new movie 'The Zero Theorem'

Twelve Monkeys, The imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, BRAZIL, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Monty Python and soo much more S@&t. Terry Gilliam is a visionary, at least in my book. He always pushes the boundaries of thought and reality and what it means to be alive and interpret things. I have tremendous respect and admiration for this man and it is with great pleasure that I'd like to share and promote the trailer for his next movie: The Zero Theorem starring the 'Jew Hunter' Chris Waltz. This looks spectacular, I can't wait to see it. Although this film was released in September 2013 it hasn't been released on DVD yet so I am waiting with great anticipation

#6- 30 thing being 3d printed right now (that aren't guns)

I've said it before and I'll say it again....3D printing will revolutionize this planet as long as the powers that be don't oppress it. Jet part, prosthetic limbs, 3d models of unborn babies based off ultrasound, and even houses! The NFL used 3d printed cleats at the superbowl this year. This is the way to go, even medical science and stem cells are using 3d printers these days. Here an uplifting and hopeful article that includes most of these things. ---> HERE <----

and lastly:

#7- NASA Images Find 1.7 Million Year Old Man-Made Bridge

"The NASA Shuttle has imaged a mysterious ancient bridge between India and Sri Lanka. The bridge was purportedly passable on foot until 1480 AD when a cyclone moved the sand around.
This recently-discovered bridge has been found to be made of a chain of limestone shoals. Its unique curvature and composition by age reveals that it is man made. The bridge currently named as Adam’s Bridge (most popularly known as Ram Setu) is about 18 miles (30 km) long."
More on that awesomeness....... HERE
