Came across this gem of a documentary coming out…… If you grew up in the 80s,90s, and I'd even wager.....the early 2000s then you grew up with this slapstick gem. If you have no idea who this is well, lemme be the one to put you onto an absurd and wholesome gem-- ERNEST P. WORRELL, a wonderfully lighthearted and heartfelt ridiculous character created by Jim Varney. Maybe this documentary will be your introduction into yet another human being we lost FAR too early (F*** you cancer)

I'd wager if you know this duuuuuuuuude it was from either A. Ernest Goes to camp or B. Ernest saves christmas. Now.............. let us not forget the masterpiece that is also ERNEST SCARED STUPID (amongst a SLEW of other ridiculous and fun sequels). Some fo you may have never known he started out as a character pitching products for TV (I remember finding his greatest hits in a WALMART $5 bin back in the day, should've bought it)
We lost this fabulous figure wayyy to early (early 2000s due to cancer) and it is a dang shame. I wonder what it could've been like seeing him in a flick with ROBIN WILLIAMS. Apparently Jim Varney was ultra compassionate which makes his loss always tougher as the world needs more of what he had to offer. The man was truly one in a kind.
