Four Fantastic....Articles. Well updates and tidbits I guess (About F4)

The OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS READS:

 “Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel’s First Family—Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Johnny Storm/Human Torch and Ben Grimm/The Thing as they face their most daunting challenge yet.”

Contained within this Multi Thread is 4 (count em' 1...2...3...4...) FANTASTIC (as previously stated) Articles that have come out this week ago the highly anticipated MARVEL SUMMER BLOCKBUSTER  coming to theaters June 27th!  But wait.......THERE'S MORE! I have unofficially dubbed this cluster of First Family specific media my "Multipost of Madness and, If it sticks, this may be a recurring theme in the future for theme specific content (I'm a sucker for a good name too)

I got a small theory about the movie I'd like to lay on the tabler. Well I guess some thoughts technically, it isn't fully formed enough to be considered a theory I suppose. But, uh--yeah... CONTINUE READING for what I got

#1. Post-Credit scene teased

We are coming out swinging here. This is I think the best find today, an article detailing exactly what the title says...CLICK HERE for more. Let's set the tone here:
...During a post-credits scene for the Thunderbolts*, (aka. The New Avengers), the titular team is seen  picking up a distress signal from an unknown craft which then turns out to be the Fantastic Four’s spacecraft. Many fans speculated that First Steps would end with the Fantastic Four’s reality being destroyed, leading them to escape to the sacred timeline (the prime MCU reality). SO ALL OF THAT TO SAY THIS-- This Article offers a description of (allegedly) Fantastic Four's stinger.

#2. EMPIRE magazine hits the presses and new Images are released

-----------------> Click here (Source: empireonline.com) <---------------
EMPIRE just dropped their spread on FIRST STEPS as well as offered us some tasty new images (of which I've used in typing this article lol). The issue also talks about Superman which is pretty hype IMO. I haven't had a chance to read the actual magazine but I'll be scooting to my local supermarket this week to pick it up I imagine.

And that’s not all! Also inside, we sit down to talk Superman and beyond with new Lex Luthor, Nicholas Hoult; go pedal-to-the-metal with F1’s Damson Idris; take a peek inside the most mysterious horror movie of the year, Weapons; talk death with David Cronenberg as he prepares to release The Shrouds; rustle up a major look-back at sheep-pig classic Babe with filmmaking legend George Miller; and much, much more. It’s an issue as delicious as a well-seasoned planet. -via the EMPIRE article

BONUS follow-up article: SHH does a piece covering the article, Not much here in the way of plot, character or future news goes, but it still adds some tidbits you might find interesting

#3. 'First Steps' Test Screening Reactions Tease ‘Terrifying’ MCU Entry
                                                                        Here
This Article can be read in its entirety HERE, Here, ---------> Here, ^       or HERE.

According to a new report from Murphy’s Multiverse on the screening reactions, the upcoming take on the iconic Marvel group is described as a “straightforward” comic book adventure. Other reactions specifically mention Ralph Ineson’s Galactus, who is described as “terrifying” and one of the best parts of the movie. The same audience member reportedly said the film has a “cosmic horror angle” to it that feels very “Lovecraftian,” probably in regard to the inclusion of Galactus. -Source via SUPERHEROHYPE.COM

I really hope we get some cosmic horror, or well horror of any kind. I gotta be honest here, I was severely underwhelmed at the 'horror' aspects in MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS (tbh earlier scripts were way less toned down apparently) because they really hyped it up as Marvel's 'first horro movie'. Fingers crossed that they don't drop the ball again

#4. GaLaCtUs Isn'T eViL

This article BARELY makes the cut. I say that because While it is insiteful (technically) it really isn't. It just goes into the tragedy of the character and the actors interpretation of him. It's worth a read, I'll say, but don't expect anything profound.This article is here mostly as a token article to fit the gimmick for this being a 4-piece entry. It was either this or an article about how this movie will be DEFINITELY DIFFERENT from the past films (which tbf if you want to read is HERE) as explained by KEVIN FEIGE

       ==================================================================

My thoughts/theory:

O.k. so my focus lately on this film is HOW it ties into the larger story and WHY/HOW they end up in the prime MCU timeline. For me it's TOO obvious a thing for them to arrive in our reality because Galactus wins and devours Earth, it's too on the nose and too expected. I feel like Dr. Doom has a role to play there (maybe). OR Galactus does consume Earth but I don't think it's going to be a plot point in the movie.

My Galactus theory(s):

I think there's a few possible outcomes. Does Silver Surfer sacrifice herself to stop Galactus at the cost of Earth? (doubt it but maybe) Do the Fantastic Four beat Galactus and send him packing only for him to comeback in the mid credits and finish what they started (nah, I take that back immediately)? I think Galactus comes at the beginning of the flick (either with the Silver Surfer or with her by herself) and is sent home, only for him to return at the end. I think they DO beat him and he DOESN'T consume Earth but I think Doom inadvertently causes and Incursion and THAT'S what destroys it. Doom has tragic hero vibes so I doubt he's straight evil, I suppose he has CONVICTON like thanos and in his choice to dominate the multiverse stems from his inability to save Earth. Think about the PTSD Tony had after Avengers 1, now imagine the guilt coupled with that if he lost Earth. It's enough to transform somebody into a villain. Watch Doom play a HUGE role in this or at least be a B. plot. IDK MArvel could be ballsy and just introduce him in DOOMSDAY. Who knows
