That's right FOLKS, We got an announcement today for the finale of the PREDATOR CROSSOVERS and it appears to be an EVENT of epic proportions. Written by Benjamin Percy and illustrated by Marcelo Ferreira (who also illustrated Predator vs. Spider-Man.)

Sorry, this is short and sweet but it made me laugh....

 Who doesn't love/hate a good troll? Seriously. Even Star Wars has trolling (evidently). I came across a video from a comic where Darth Vader is getting trolled by one of his employees/soldiers/co-workers (IDK what the proper label would be, but somebody in the Imperial Navy aboard a ship he was commanding).

The best/worst part is when the person who is getting trolled flips the script and trolls you back hard, because in this case Darth Vader is straight up RUTHLESS about it when the ruse is discovered. Continue reading to learn more! (and maybe chuckle a little bit.

 Got to hit up 3 local comic shops, have some free cake, meet some nice folks and acquire free comics. Special Bonus points because Amelia got her Encanto comic! Alls that left to do is read some comics and binge some Star Wars.

2019 for Marvel: So far.....so great

Well Here we are, in the 2nd month of 2019 and Marvel has been releasing some killer content. Recently You have a new season of the Punisher, a trailer for Avengers: Endgame, a new trailer for another Spider-man. Even more recently you have the new teaser for Endgame during the superbowl and Captain Marvel. You also forget non MCU essentials: Spider-Man: into the spiderverse, X-men: Dark Phoenix, and The new mutants. All in all, if you're a fanboy..... This year is gonna be a goodn'

Original SIN: my 2 cents....

Marvel's Big Event comic of the year, as you may or may not know, has been a pretty intriguing murder mystery/who-done-it kinda story. It is very interesting to talk about and speculate with. The short of it is this: The watcher (An eternal silent being who lives on the moon and observes ALL of human history, but never interferes) is murdered and Nick Fury is tasked with finding out: 1. Who did, 2. Why they did it, and 3. What they wanted or intended to gain/do by doing so. If you haven't read it, I'd recommend picking it up and although it isn't your typically superhero arc it has a noir feeling to it with a kind of subtle charm to keep you reading. 

COMIC CON!!!

Today was the annual MOTOR CITY COMIC CON. This year I went with my girlfriend Nancy, my buddy Jeff, my best buddy Nathan, My best buddy Derek and his girlfriend Dana. It was an awesome event. Filled with walking, energy drinks, talks of comics and things of nerdy natures, more walking, comics, peeing, comics, more walking, nancy shaking Ernie Hudson's hand and me peeing with Khal Drogo. I didn't take any pictures this year but you bet you're bottom dollar I'm going to post some pics from other cons. 

Some notable guests include: Chris Claremont, Hershel and Shane from THE WALKING DEAD, Tommy the Green Ranger, The Nasty boys, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, William Shatner, Ernie Hudson, Khal Drogo, that girl from SONS OF ANARCHY and many more that I can't recall.

We all knew it and were just waiting for confirmation: Vin Diesel is Groot! (finally!)

I was just reading an article over at superherohype.com (you know....the source of 90% of my movie info) and apparently Marvel just confirmed what all of us already had a firm handle on: Vin Diesel is officially playing GROOT the tree/alien/guardian of the galaxy. Speculation has hit the internet in the last few months and reports popped up about Diesel trying out stunt-stilt-work on the FAST & FURIOUS set.  Also..... for you internet detectives out there: Last week the teaser trailer for 'Guardians of the Galaxy' leaked online. I managed to save it on my computer thanks to KEEPVID.com but I'm not going to compromise this blog and upload it but if you do enough digging I'm sure you can find it too! if not....you just SOL, sorry. Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is slated for release on Aug. 1st 2014. Directed by 'Slither' Writer/Director James Gunn it stars Chris Pratt, John C. Reilly and many more.

Hell Yeah: The original concept/story of 'The Star Wars' to be released as a Comic!

I had read about this happening in a comic or maybe on superherohype a while back, but now there is a trailer for 'The Star Wars' out. Maybe Dark Horse wants to kick as much ass as possible before they have to hand the rights back over to DISNEY.
