Silence will fall when the question is asked: Doctor...Who--'s Christmas Special update? (wrongly placed question mark is intentional): X-mas Special Teaser!

BBC has unveiled a new trailer for the Doctor Who Christmas Special this year titled "The Time of the Doctor," this episode will be Matt Smith's final Endeavor as the Doctor. You can official images and posters for the episode (via SUPERHEROHYPE's article) by clicking here.

Continue reading to watch the trailer! (or keep perusing......your choice)

this is what the synopsis says:
Orbiting a quiet backwater planet (Which I'm calling right now is Trenzelore...), the massed forces of the universe’s deadliest species gather, drawn to a mysterious message that echoes out to the stars - and amongst them, the Doctor. Rescuing Clara from a family Christmas dinner, the Time Lord and his best friend must learn what this enigmatic signal means for his own fate and that of the universe.

Sidenote: While I love doctor who and Matt Smith as the doctor im beginning to get sick of Steven Moffet as a showrunner..... He is trying to force too much down my throat. What I appreciated about the Russel T. Davies run on the show was the simple romanticism in the air with all of the episodes. When the show was revived I was excited to be whisked away to other random adventures and strange scenes (as well as periods in history...let's not forget that) but now it just seems that the show insists upon itself. It seems to be using it's own momentum to attempt to catapult itself into being something larger than life (see the final episode of Dexter....actually don't it sucked, but it visualizes the point I'm making) and I'm not aboard for the ride. Every episode this season (and rightfully so...it was intentional) stands out almost as a one-shot movie (or short film, technically, by the runtime) and the previous season seemed to weave together a lot better. I don't know it is just something I noticed mid season 6 and haven't been able to shake off, in-fact this little splinter of the mind just grows.... But that is just my opinion and not yours. ENJOY THE TRAILER IT IS B.(dot)A.(dot)
