Day 3: Afternoon Monsoons

 Well…..currently battling some fun weather lol. It’s uh……yeah. It’s a spectrum I’ll tell ya

That’s right. I thought I’d have it easy after the hike….. Yanno, rush through the second half to beat the rain and then go home and hunker down. But NOOOOOOOO, the weather has to go all whacked out on goofballs. Shenanigans I tell you, SHENANIGANS

I’d say around 4:15pm ish is when things were starting to pop off pretty Severely. At first it just rains a little harder then the winds picked up, Keving was in his tent resting and recouping the from the hike we did today so I’d imagine he’s about 20-30mins into a nap when things go spicy.

As you can see we are relived once communications are reestablished. We did know the status of our party member until things settled down 

In hindsight this was a false sense of security and a cruel practical joke by Mother Nature, wasnt cave cemetery enough!!

And that’s how it’s been ever since. It’s is currently 10:35 as I have been popping in and out to add updates as things unfold. This was the high point, the canopy became our makeshift base camp and without a campfire things are pretty boring. Tomorrow is suppose to be bad as well so we are taking a layover day. That’s mean rest, recoup, relax, reflect, recharge, resupply, react, then re-enlist.
