At about 3:20 we rolled up into this beezy, with hope in our hearts and adventure in our minds.
The speed limit was a whopping 35mph so we definitely got some time to soak in the sights, plenty of mountainscape on alternating sides as we make our way to the middle of the park. CONTINUE READING to see more of our home away from home.
Time to throw up camp. Kevin was “drunk on space” as he put it so we got a little spoiled with the amenities. We got a dang near full working kitchen on deck. Behind us is a gold mine of firewood that needs to be cut up so fires are a non issue as well. Time to hit the trail of beers and relax.
Tomorrow the weather is going to be life but the day after is going to ran as of now (but who knows in 8hrs it may be sunny and 73) so we are trying to do our challenging hikes tomorrow. First up is bearfence scramble which is only 1.2miles but has major elevation gain as well as hazardous rock conditions….. so that should be fun :-) I love me a challenge
