World Record: LEGOs are still the sh%t

Kids today at the Red Clay School District in Delaware have set a new world record. "For what" you might say. Well I'll tell you: (as if the pictures don't already give it away)It's the record for the tallest structure built with interlocking plastic bricks (Aka LEGOS although they're probably trademarked or whatever and cannot flat-out call them that).

"After months of work in classrooms across the district and a few days of painstaking engineering, a stack of LEGO bricks towers high over John Dickinson High School outside of Wilmington. It’s made out of more than 500,000 of the small plastic bricks. It weighs almost a ton. And it’s exactly 112 feet, 11 ¾inches tall.
The district wrote on Facebook that the Lego tower will remain intact until Thursday morning. For more on the construction project, check out the following video from the Red Clay School District’s Facebook page." (taken from the source page)

This one time I was over my friend Derek's house and his nephew was playing with LEGOs and we decided to try and build a tower as high as we could, you know for just for the hell of it, and see how tall we could make it. Turns out we ran out of room when we hit his ceiling and almost ran out of LEGOs in the process. My whole point to that little story was this though: KING KONG AINT GOT SH$& on that LEGO tower!
