While I'm at it: Unpublished Article #2...... My synopsis of Dawn of the Dudes Episode 1
This Article was written back in 2012 also. I wanted to promote my Short-Film/Episodic serial- Dawn of the Dudes. I have 2 episodes to date...well 3 technically. The first Dawn of the Dudes was a Pilot episode that showcased my super amateur film making status..... That was filmed in 2009 and re-shot in 2010. But THIS one.... THIS Episode is still amateur and still cheesy but I'm still proud of it.... but without Further Ado....
A group of band mates move into a new house for a fresh start but supernatural forces may hinder their plans of moving forward
Our Story starts off with our heroes: The "Dudes." Sitting in their basement on their new house with new adventures waiting on the horizon. They've got a problem though- They've been in a funk since losing "Clash of the Titans" (a battle of the bands contest at a state-wide music festival) and can't write any new material. This is frustrating to Ryan as he is the bands' manager (and drummer) and also an aspiring musician. Derek and Nathan just want to drink and work and live life so they're not too concerned with the lack of progress assuring themselves "you can't rush art."
An Unpublished EZINEARTICLE I wrote but never published: My assume theory on FTL travel having no previous knowledge of its interworkings (IE,,,blowin smoke)
In this freewrite I summarize my theories of FTL existence based on my next-to-nothing background information and credibility (IE: Youtube + my limited understanding of physics mixed with imagination). It is still interesting to just dream and think about. Even if this is pure and utter rubbish it is still an intriguing topic, at least in my opinion. This was a paper I wrote before I began investigating physics, this is purely a lamens theory. Feel free to read it and disagree (especially if you have facts that either support or discredit this claim. I'm curious as to how far off or close-to science I really am having no background at the time.
Spot on Louis CK.... spot on
(Source article from Io9)
I like this guy's/girl's opinion, it is very grounded and also spot on....the future is NOW:
juansmithRobert T. Gonzalez
I kinda feel that way about airplanes now. I mean, how do we quickly signify that a movie is showing "a futuristic city"? Well, there are lots of pretty colorful lights, and lots of metal things flying overhead. We basically have that stuff now.
Every time I see airplanes routinely flying overhead, I can't help but think that someone 100 years ago (even at the dawn of human flight) would find this mind-boggling. When I picture a "futuristic" city now, I can't really differentiate it much from a present-day city. Perhaps the buildings will be taller because of advances in materials science, and I'm sure there will be lots more drones flying around - but yes, it will be mundane as hell*.
I mean, I routinely walk to work reading a book off a device that looks exactly like a PADD from Star Trek. Then I scan a smartcard on an ad-hoc rental car parked on the street, punch in a PIN, and drive to my destination - leaving the car behind for someone else when I'm done. And all of these things entered my life in the past...2-3 years?
We're definitely in "the future" now. At this point I'm just hoping I'll live long enough for radical human life extension. Doctor, I'm feeling a bit winded! Please generate and install another of my own lungs, please!
* I seriously hope I'm being naive and completely wrong here, and there are inventions coming that are beyond my wildest dreams. But I still maintain that everything will eventually be mundane as hell.

...What happened to the American Dream....
Comedian: What happened to the American Dream? It came true...... you're looking at it
^ also a spot on realization that we, as human beings, have a tendency to build paradise then populate it with horrors. Beget by our own devices, destroyed by the very dreams that built them.
Another Series 8 Teaser: well that's the teaser.... Doctor Who baby!
Anither Doctor Who teaser has emerged from the woodwork..... showcasing the (hinted at) return of davros!
For those who don't know or have forgotten, Davros is an arch nemesis of The doctor and also the creator of the Daleks.

Thanks I F-ing < 3 science, you helped me with 50% of this article.
I'm glad that I F-ing love science finally has a website, or at least one that I know about. It always seems to have insightful and wonderful article as well as access to current info/trends/breakthroughs in a myriad of scientific fields. Bottom line: It is a pretty good (albeit it sometimes biased......but everything is) one-stopp-shop for science news and info.
Now that I'm done hyping/plugging or whatever it's called (I call it a shout out because I'm not benefiting or getting paid to praise, I just [mostly] support their cause) I can move onto a story that came out of there....

Don't (always blindly) believe what you read (and if you do....fact check and scrutinize the S%&t out of it, so as to reach a higher understanding of empirical evidence)
I think somebody forgot the statistic for deaths cased by religion... that might tip the scales a little. OR what about the unborn children of condemned witches who didn't have a choice and were put death over mob mentality. Where are gun deaths or alcohol related deaths? Notice how they aren't on there...... I bet it wouldn't drive their point home nearly enough. Fuck this propaganda
LYING WITH STATISTICS
(also known as: statistical fallacy/fallacies, misunderstanding the nature of statistics [form of])
Description: This can be seen as an entire class of fallacies that result in presenting statistical data in a very biased way, and of course, interpreting statistics without questioning the methods behind collecting and presenting the data.
The many methods are outside the scope of this book, but if you really want to jump in here, and see how deceptive statistics can be, get the book, How to Lie with Statistics by Darrell Huff, a 1954 classic that is just as relevant today as it was in his time.
Logical Form:
Claim A is made.
Statistic S is manipulated to support claim A.
Example #1:
Did you see that bar graph in USA Today? It showed a HUGE spike in the moral decline of our country!
Explanation: The first question that should immediately come to mind is, how on earth can one measure morality? With such a loose definition, it is not hard to imagine one collecting and measuring the data that only supports her desired outcome for the “numbers”. Furthermore, what is a “huge spike?” Visually, you can play with graphs to make numbers seem much more dramatic by not starting at zero, or by doing that little “chopped section” thing. For example, let’s accept that last year 20% of all people were immoral. This year it is 22%. Not a big deal, and if shown on a graph with a vertical axis of 0% to 100%, the line connecting the 20% to the 22% would be barely inclined. However, if shown on a graph with a vertical axis of 20% to 25%, the line connecting the 20% to the 22% would appear to be a huge spike. The same exact data, a very different presentation.
Example #2:
Looking at that pie chart, there is a very small percentage of people who declare themselves atheist. Therefore, atheism is not that popular of a belief.
Explanation: First, atheism is better described as a lack of belief. Second, many non-believers are not even familiar with the term “atheist,” and often consider themselves Christian, Jewish, or some other religion, based on their culture and family tradition, not necessarily their beliefs. Statistics don’t account for this.
Exception: At times, careful and honest explanations of the data and the presentation can void statistical fallacies, but like virtually all exceptions, this can be debatable.
Variation: Misunderstanding the nature of statistics is related to this fallacy, but the fallacy rests on the person interpreting the statistics. For example, you might be very troubled to find out that your doctor graduated in the bottom half of her class, but that is half of all the doctors in the world, and to be expected.

Now that F&*kin Metal: Band to play in air-tight, and sound-proof box until out of oxygen
How F$&kin metal can people get? Answer: SUPER F%*kin Metal!
Portuguese artist João Onofre and UK band 'Unfathomable Ruination' will be playing in an airtight, soundproofed box until they can't play anymore.
One time I was listening to a SModcast (that's a Kevin Smith/ Scott Mosier podcast for those out of the 'know' ..linx) and They brought on K Smith's good friend (and Manager of Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash) Walt and he said the most metal thing he ever did was send Wayne Gacy a donation for a painting. This ain't got $h!t on Ruination though, I gotta be honest. Either way.... continue reading for the link to the article.
Portuguese artist João Onofre and UK band 'Unfathomable Ruination' will be playing in an airtight, soundproofed box until they can't play anymore.
"This is the first time that João Onofre’s work, Box sized DIE featuring Unfathomable Ruination, 2007 – 2014 has come to London, having toured extensively through Europe at venues including Palais de Tokyo and MACBA. Influenced by Tony Smith’s pioneering minimalist sculpture Die (1962), the steel box serves as a mobile location for performance. In each location the sculpture travels to, Onofre invites a local Death Metal band to play, on this occasion Unfathomable Ruination. The box is soundproofed, determining and restricting the performance’s duration to the length of time in which the oxygen is expended. Outside the cube, viewers observe its strange vibrations, only viewing the band’s entrance and exit to the performance space."

We are from the future
"How can we be from the future?" you might ask. Let us explain. Plants harvest light with near perfect efficiency. You may not realize it, but this is impossible under classical physics. Along the way to the photosynthesizing core - photons of light should collide with other particles, but they don't. A photon succeeding in reaching the core is as likely - as you sprinting blindfolded through a dense forest - reaching the center without striking a single tree.
Plants are engaged in a kind of miracle. The plant puts the photon into a state of quantum superposition, multiplying it by every route that photon could possibly take. Imagine - blindly sprinting through a forest - being multiplied into every one of the billions of possible paths. If any one of your possibilities were observed hitting a tree, the superposition would collapse - and that would be your final outcome, but the plant patiently refuses to observe any of these casualties - while at it's heart it sings..."Let there be light."
When any of the possibilities finally reaches the core without fail, only that winner is observed. All the other possibilities disappear. The winner is transmitted back through time - from the future - and becomes the only possibility that ever existed. This is how photons reach the plant's core with impossible precision. This is how you - and every organism in existence - overcame the massive improbabilities of life. -- This is how we are from the future. This is how you will become the light of the world ... as we invoke the sacred imperative together ... "Let there be light."

Just saw X-men: Dofp........ and very much enjoyed it
Nancy, Nathan and I just got back from seeing X-men: Days of future past......my god...... AWESOME. First off, I'd like to point out that I'm currently eating my words about Quicksilver, yeah he looks like something out of a sisco music video but damn is his part in the movie the coolest. Magneto... Tragic Hero. Charles Xavier.... Hero on a path of self-pity (after the events of X-men First class). It is gritty too, in the bleak future the X-men get killed off one by one in gruesome fashions. I'm not going to give anything away EXCEPT this: Banshee, Pixie (or Angel.....psh its not angel), Azazel, and Emma Frost were all killed between First Class and Days of future past. Mystique found out that they had been captured and tortured because of their unique abilities. That's horrible......and they got mugshots of their autopsys.....morbid. All in all I'd say DofP is the best if not second best X-men movie (hands down). If you do go and see the movie ask yourself this question: Is the person in the opening scene an alternate timeline Cable?
One thing though..... Just like it was cheesy when they put the 'juggernaut bitch' gag into X-3 I lost my sH!t and cracked up uncontrollably when Mystique (and I'm sure they didn't do this on purpose) was getting mind controlled by Xavier and she utters "Get outta my head charles"
